Below is the floor plan and detail reflecting the changes that we are planning to make in our Church kitchen and Great Hall. For those of you who have most recently visited the Church, you can see that these changes are already underway. Our plan is to have most of this work completed by midsummer when the windows in our Church will also be replaced as a result of a separate Security Grant awarded to the Church.
We humbly ask you to prayerfully consider supporting this campaign according to your ability. Every gift, large or small, is an offering made in love for God and His Church. Through our shared sacrifice and generosity, we can ensure that our parish remains strong, beautiful, and spiritually vibrant for many years to come.
We are thankful for, and we depend on, the participation of the members and visitors of our Church community who support our fundraising efforts that enable us to accommodate the needs of our growing Church community. Please know in advance, that your generosity and your ongoing support of St. Andrew is sincerely appreciated!
Yours in Christ,
Rev. Fr. Herman Acker

St. Andrew the Apostle Building Improvement Project - Planned Changes
Kitchen
1. Sink, counter and cabinets moved to far corner out of the way of foot traffic to improve flow
2. Stainless steel double drawer dishwasher installed under modified granite countertop increases dish washing efficiencies
3. Two 36" stainless steel range hoods exhaust to exterior on demand to remove steam and excess heat
4. Two 36" stainless steel convection ovens with range tops dramatically shortens time required for cooking and ensures even cooking temperatures
5. Two mobile steamer tables to increase efficiency and ease in serving hot foods during larger events. Tables moved when not in use to further improve traffic flow in kitchen 6. Stainless steel hand washing sink required for event licenses
Great Hall
7. Bookstore and shelves move to far inside wall as part of design to increase floor space
8. All existing classroom walls and closets removed. Provides 305 square feet of additional open space. All electrical outlets, switches, thermostat and audio controls removed and/or relocated. Six new overhead LED lights installed
9. Workbench moved to side wall and enclosed with folding doors
10. New storage closet for relocation of existing stored items
11. Oak hardwood flooring replaces existing classroom floors. Flooring matches that currently installed in the Great Hall
12. Four acoustical, mobile, folding modular wall units enable rapid creation of separate rooms when/if needed. Walls are stacked out of the way against outer wall when not in use. New open space is designed to add up to five additional tables and additional seats as required. It is anticipated that walls will be stacked the majority of the time.
