Is the Christian life a matter of following the right rules, or is it something more radical? Join us for an in-depth, 8-week Bible study on the Book of Galatians. This letter, which could be called the “Torah to the Gentiles,”* was written by the Apostle Paul to a community in crisis. These were believers who were being "bewitched" into trading their freedom in Christ for the security of legalism. In this series, we will explore the "scandal of the cross" and the "truth of the gospel." We will follow Paul’s journey from a violent persecutor to an Apostle of Grace, and we will discover how the ancient promise made to Abraham reaches us today. From the public confrontation at Antioch to the "fruit of the Spirit," we will learn what it truly means to be "crucified with Christ" and to live as a "new creation." * Recommended Reading: Torah to the Gentiles by Marc Boulos |
